Hello all, I would like to know if it is possible to use a cmod s6 to program a LED cube, how would the circuits designs/breadboard designs look for this? I have a light understanding of how to do this and of digital electronics in general.

 

How about a better definition of "LED Cube"?

Yeah sorry, heres more specified version hopefully. I am no too experienced, but using a 555 timer I would like to build a led cube that works like an electronic hourglass. The top half of the 4by4by4 cube being completely lit when the device is turned on, but then as each light on the top turns off a light on the bottom turns on until whole bottom half is lit.

 

So you want to build a 4x4x4 LED cube using 555 timer?
If you want use cmod s6 to program the LD cube then why you need 555 for?
