That tiny module might be able to deliver the same functionality, but if it arrives like the little modules that I ordered for a similar price, you get no hint as to the connections at all. And it has no power supply at all. The broken circuit board has one fast-on connection and a 4 position pin connector, and LEDs indicating two different supply voltages. So you will need to be able to understand the circuit of the system that you are hoping to install it in and make some adaptions. You will also need to create an interface to the rest of the system, because the small device on ebay does not appear to have a mechanical relay, which provides a lot of isolation. This was even cheaper. Will it work with my old garage opener? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Remote-Control-433MHZ-DC-12V-1-Channel-Relay-Remote-Switch/202651873563?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=c0f31b83fa5e4f889d0b57b80155cd99&pid=100675&rk=5&rkt=15&sd=312799449846&itm=202651873563&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:2e1dacf1-ee4d-11e9-ad28-74dbd180a6f8|parentrq:c8fcfe6f16d0aa66a71e0f0cffdfdc6c|iid:1
So the short answer to your question: "Will it work with my old garage opener?" is "YES, BUT....."
