Hey all, so just to confirm. Here are the steps I am going to take to change from ultralinear to pentode.
Disconnect the output transformer screen leads and just make sure they dont short anything,
Attach a 470-750 ohm resistor to each screen connection, run a wire from point A to each screen connection
Adjust the resistor value until I achieve a current of anywhere between 22 ma to 45ma. Then go for a grid 2 dissipation. of 70% of 8 watts which would be 5.6 watts.
