No, it doesn't.

LM358 is not an abbreviation, it is the part number of the device. The LM358 actually is 1/2 of an LM324 quad opamp.

In National's part number process at that time, the 3 in 358 indicated that this was a commercial-grade device. The LM258 was screened for industrial environments, and the LM158 was screened for military environments. This is shown on page 4 of the datasheet.
