Neat product. But should be really a 7.4V nominal, max 8.4V if there is two cells, right ? Making it three cells would go beyond 9V to 11V nominal, 12.6V max. Specifications say nothing as most chinese. What do you think ?

Saw also AA sized, recharged by 5V and deliver 1.5V. A regulator built in ?

Normally they just like you said, but the 9V should be used 1.5V*6 to combined to a 9V.

It has a small buck circuit inside.
