I'd rather have a crimp connection than solder so the connection won't break as quickly during use but that will work here.I'd prefer it to the typical cheapo work with cold jointed solder globs. Least now you can put a clean joint on them.
Did you miss the “DYI” and “ready to solder” in the copy?Ordered a few sets of these online from China. I knew they wouldn't be high or even standard quality but twisted wires for the probe connections? That's mighty low bucko.
Should have posted it in the test and equipment forum.
I don't know to whom the OT comments were directed. My post was directly related to the TS's desire for a crimped connection. This solution is easy to do, does not require disassembly of the grabber for crimping, and is fully insulated once assembled.I'd rather have a crimp connection than solder so the connection won't break as quickly during use but that will work here.
It's not about your good post.I don't know to whom the OT comments were directed. My post was directly related to the TS's desire for a crimped connection. This solution is easy to do, does not require disassembly of the grabber for crimping, and is fully insulated once assembled.
Really? The topic of this thread broadly relates to grabber clips mentioned through most of the thread. A post taking ghe threat into a different firection was deleted and the poster politely asked to post that information elsewhere.
