It is my project and I kind of figured out the following ways to do it but they are very lengthy.
I don't want to use micro controllers because that is too easy.
1)Using a dip switch to enter BCD values into the magnitude comparator.
2)Making another clock for Alarm and after pausing it(setting),comparing it's value with the real time clock.
I was hoping for some other suggestions which hopefully do not include that much complexity because I have to design on breadboard rather than pcb.
This thread is just to have a discussion and not the schematic from you guys.(to avoid confusion...
)
