I have a straight 6 HG linear and not getting any output but the amp is drawing amperage. Is it possible to use a scope to find out what section or part that isn't getting power. Like using the scope as a signal generator and see what isn't working.. I have a scope I can use but don't know how

There are many reasons why an RF amplifier may not produce an output. A schematic diagram is essential to trouble shooting. I'm confused by the statement , which is not a sentence, "No ssb no preamp" Can you explain what you think we need to know?
