Help with identifying this possible PMT HV power supply?

Hello everyone!

I have this variable High Voltage power supply (K and M PN 1037). It is rated for 8kV @ 0.1mA max. I do not see any potentiometers to make any voltage adjustments either, which leads me to believe it maybe controlled remotely via the serial plug. There are 9 wires as in the picture. I can think of the following connections ( LV +, LV -, Pot-REF, Pot - WIPER, Pot - COM, HV COM) no idea what could be the other, just my wild guess xD. I believe this is a photomultiplier power supply.

Any one has come across this unit or a similar unit? I think it maybe an Agilent- Bruker PSU, but I could be wrong.
Thanks guys!

I suggest removing the screws and examining the inside which, if you are really lucky, will have legends printed on the PCB describing the functions of the different connections.
