Help Wiring a AC 220v 2000w dimmer

I am surprised the Triac control does not work, this is used for power tools etc with the same type of motor.
If you are a little ambitious you could try a 20amp bridge rectifier on the motor output of the unit you have and feed the motor DC, only a couple of $ to lose.
See if DC on the motor is a little better!

it works max , i was wrong before and i got it working , but it only reduced the rpm slightly, id say i'm dropping from 11,500 to about 9,000rpm

i'm wondering how i can drop this further to like 400rpm...theres a blue tacho on the controller like in that youtube video, but i dont know whether or not to turn the screw and adjust it or is that a bad idea ?

That could be a preset rpm setting, try turning it keeping track of how many turns you moved it, it is a multi-turn pot, 10 or 20 etc.
There is nothing to lose in trying it.

woo max :D i turned it 10 times 1 way, was fast, so i did 20 timesotherway.....now id say im controlling it from 4000rpm ---11500rpm :D:D


its perfect !! thankyou!!! and sorry for making you think you was going crazy in the begining lol
