I want to build a project that will collect real time temperature data in two places (indoor and outdoor).
I would like your advice in selecting the parts I will need.
The following are the parts I think I should buy.
Microcontroller— Arduino uno r3
Temperature sensor – I’m not too sure here. I’m a bit overwhelmed with the products available. But maybe.
One Wire Digital Temperature Sensor - DS18B20
Or
Humidity and Temperature Sensor - SHT15 Breakout
(I won’t be using the humidity part)
Or
TMP36 - Temperature Sensor
Or
Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout - TMP102

Real time clock—Sparkfun Real Time Clock Module sku: BOB-00099

LCD display— LCD-09395
Data Storage logger— Adafruit Data logging shield for Arduino - v1.0

Please let me know if you think these are good choices.
Thank you
steven

Was there an article about this in some blog or magazine lately?

This is the 2nd thread on the same topic this week.

Your choices are fine, and you should have no problem getting it to work as it is pretty much plug and play with the boards.
