I'm new to this forum. I'm familiar with basic, very basic circuits. I haven't messed with anything since basic electronics in college in the 90's.
So anyhow, I think this should be fairly simple but I'm not sure what I would need to do. I have a 2015 Ram 1500. I'd like to build a simple countdown timer (30 seconds or so) that whenever I ignition off in the truck, the timer is initiated, and after 30 seconds or 60 seconds, a 12v pulse is sent to the door locks.
The keyed hot wire is 12v, the door locks are 12v.
This is something that once built, I'd put it inside the dash or completely out of sight.
