Hello! I just bought some knock off Fotek 25Amp SSRs. I'm using them to turn on / off 120v AC 20W LED tubes (T5 4'). I will have as many as x8 tubes tied to one SSR, for a total load of 1.3 amps.

Do I need to bother with the beefy heatsink game for a such a comparatively low power game?

Rule of thumb for any triac-based switching (including SSR). It has to dissipate 1 Watt for each Amp switched.
So 1.3W in your cause.
It will manage that fixed to the case.
