hi Kon,
I have my HC12's located on the same tables as Desktop/TFT screen and laptop PC, never had a problem with interference.
Sometimes I do receive corrupt data, usually around mealtimes when neighbours are using some equipment. [ maybe a microwave????]

The RX program is written so that if I do not get an update from the remote TX, within a 30 second period, the RX project resets and restarts.
[the TX is set for a nominal 2 sec TX interval ]

I would check that no other HC12 user is on the same channel as you.

Hi Eric,

I finally had some time to spend on my project. Actually, I reached a point on Friday that I felt like I give it up, because I couldn't reach 2m distance if I had any object between the transmitter and the receiver. I became so frustrated that I decided to put a screwdriver on my helical antenna as a last try.
It worked! I was really surprised, but it looks like that in my case, the helical antenna is just simply not enough. With the screwdriver, I reached really nice distance inside my house.

Thank you for all your help. I completed the transmitter and put it in a box. Now, I have to put the receiver from breadboard to PCB and in a box. That is way more complicated (LCD screen, Light sensor, etc). I will inform you about the progress.

hi Kon,
Some of those HC12 modules have a micro-coax connector on the PCB, you can buy a simple dipole antenna to fit that connector.
Other users claim it improves the range.
