Am I right in saying that a gyrator changes its resistance based on current to keep a constant voltage and a CCS changes its resistance based on voltage to keep a constant current?
No, you can't. Maintaining a constant voltage is not the purpose of a gyrator. The output voltage will only be constant if the input current is constant. AFAIK gyrators don't change their resistance since they are hypothetical PASSIVE devices. But I can make a gyrator that maintains constant voltage right?
Sounds like you want a voltage regulator. But I can make a gyrator that maintains constant voltage right?
Sounds to me like he wants to make a hypothetical passive device do something it really can't do.Sounds like you want a voltage regulator.
