I had Avast last year, I can't say if it was good or bad, this year I wanted to try BitDefender, but they want me to sign up, and I don't want more junk mail, I just want a freeware AV, that it also low system usage, and not just spyware
I use the free version of Malwarebytes. It's the only AV I'll have on my Mac and was recommended to me by Apple. I don't need it often - maybe twice a year? - but it's handy for removing crap you pick up browsing.I just want a freeware AV, that it also low system usage, and not just spyware
