Fixed mate for a pillow block flange bearing?

I would rather have PVC anyway. What about securing the tube to the PVC flange? Would an epoxy do the trick?
Epoxy should work, or You can use pvc cement (pvc melts around the aluminum tube), or drill through the pvc and metal tube and sink a sheet metal screw through both.

Note that pvc is usually a bit odd sized vs metal. I think 3/4 copper does not quite fit into 3/4 inch pvc fitting. Pvc is about 1/64" too small. Simply heat the pvc fitting with a torch or in an oven for several minutes and keep check8ng if it fits. It will eventually slip in and never come apart once the pvc cools. Do not heat the copper.

Maybe show a sketch of what your trying to do? The one shown in the first post is a bearing, the one Gopher showed wasn't. Do you need it to be able to spin? Not real sure what your after here.

I need a bearing on the bottom and a flange on top. I am looking to spin a circuit board. Wires will be running up the tube.

Up next is figuring out how to turn the tube with a motor from the outside of the tube. I had a belt in mind if that would work.

I will try to draw something up.

Why so freaking expensive for that single flange? The one you linked seems to be on the cheap side too.

This one is $73!!

Some private sellers on Amazon raise the price when they are out of stock so it doesn't show up on searches but that just doesn't work.

Search Home Depot and Lowe's. I think they are 5 or 7 dollars.

How about one of those kiddy FIGIT spinners (they have 8mm ID bearings and you could add an 8mm hollow bolt to thread your wires. Make sure you get figit soinner with silent bearings or it will drive you crazy.

For some specialty mechanical items I keep a copy of the Misumi cat. handy!
BTW, if wishing to transfer power to a spinning PCT board, the 1/4 phono plug works well as in the Picmicro Pendulum set up app note.
Max.

I have an idea for a project where I will use a pillow block flange bearing.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/UCF205-16-...010758?hash=item4b01383fc6:g:mysAAOSwl2haBRAK

What I need is something similar to the bearing but fixed. Really what I just need is a way to mount a circuit board to the top of an aluminum tube. It would be ideal if the "bracket" was nice and light. Best if it was plastic but aluminum would do.
Spin... didn't you own a small cnc router-drill machine? Couldn't you just use a small block of plastic material and then cut it to whatever shape you want?

I did not realize there was such a thing as a hollow bolt. That might make life easier.

It is actually just a router. Assuming it could do the job, the hard part is designing the thing. ;)

It might be easier to just drill the thing with a press. Assuming I could lay my hands on a piece of plastic the size I need.

I got a couple of these in.

Where you see the wires coming out, that piece spins. The problem is that nipple is so narrow and not very long. If I could get a tube on there then spin the tube somehow it would be good.

Here is the idea

Wires would run up the tube. I do have a PC fan that would be ideal mounting platform. That way I would not have to mess with the belt an just spin it from the center of the fan but I can't wrap my head around how I would run the wires.

An I would like to get away with just the slip ring if possible.

What frequency signals do you need to pass from the static part to the spinning pcb?

All I need is power. I also plan to have a shift register on the spinning board that will tun on and off LEDs. I really haven't figured out the frequency yet but should be fairly low. Certainly under what the shift register could handle.
