Hello. I friend of mine got a FLUKE 5100B. It seems to work, it turns on and let my put all the different values, but it doesn’t send any voltage to the output. We have tried everything (or at least i think that)

I know this is a very vague question. I just ask it in case it is a usual/typical problem, like a fuse or something. Any idea?

Did you perform the troubleshooting procedures starting on page 4-29 in its manual?

 

If there are over-voltage or over-current settings in the setup, make sure that they are not set at zero. THAT was the fault on a nice power supply that I got because "it did not work." Certainly a simple thing to repair.

Some times reading the manual carefully is the best start to fixing the problem.
