Natural gas is used where it is plentiful. My old mechanic, use to modify cars and other engines for propane. Problem is the distribution is limited.

On edit....it was 20 cents cheaper.

You can get your mechanic to modify your vehicle. You can always get 20 lbs just about anywhere.

I've been running my pickups on propane for close to 15 years and nearing 200K miles combined on DIY conversions including my 99 Ford F250 with the EFI V10 that near 100K miles on propane itself now.

My last fill was 82 cents a gallon Vs $2.34 for gasoline so it pretty hard to argue against the conversion around here given that fuel price difference.

 

Where there is adequate supplies, the demand is there too. I sen many a farmer using propane driven irrigation systems and wells.

 

So, it's been 23 years since 1993 and the estimate sea level rise should be 2.3 inches. I wonder if our resident Maldives native can shed some light on the sea level he's observed since 1993. Is his homeland in danger?

Diego Garcia is also in the Indian Ocean and does not appear to need a wall, which I'm guessing was a make-work, feel-good project to distract people from the corruption.

The Maldives was one island group mentioned in an early global warming report as being in danger. Good thing the prediction was WRONG.

They just can't fathom the sea level decreasing when they predicted a rise in sea level. That sounds more like a political statement then a scientific explanation.

If millimeters of more water can create a 10+foot storm surge a few inches of rain over a few days could lead to a 100+ foot high tidal wave in your area even if you no where near the ocean! Also that 21 C thing? Careful now. A good warm day could cause a 'thermal surge' in the hundreds of degrees range and cook on the spot!

It's true! Global warming data and ancillary hearsay correlates it to be 100% true because anything that is global warming related is real and not just made up weak cause and exaggerated effect scaremongering.

And as sea level continues to rise in a warming world, a Sandy that arrives in 2100, when average sea level is likely to be about 3 feet higher than it is today, would be correspondingly more destructive.

So if 4 mm gives a ~3 meter surge now, 3 feet (914 mm) should give us a 2200+ foot surge in 2100!

Since it can't be disproven until they year 2100 we have all assume it will and drastic measures need to be taken now because the math can't be wrong or misread.

 

Wow ... In just four years, they revised the figure from 3 feet to 16 mm. I'm surprised the margin of error is so small. I guess anything other than a sea state of FAC is a storm surge to some.
