Hi there. I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this i'm new. I was opening my 16.5 inch free standing fireplace to clean out the fan. And I knocked a wire off of somewhere. It's blue. I want to reconnect it where it's supposed to go before I reassemble the fireplace. And I'm looking over the unit and there's only really one spot. I can see where it might give. So the unit has a radial temperature dial. From which are coming two wires, Also, this is the spot which looks like the other end of the blue wire may go.
The foreign of the blue wire consists of what looks like the motor on the side of the blower/heater. There are two wires coming from that Part one red and one blue. The blue one being the one which is currently not connected to anything. My question is would the temperature dial be the spot for it.
Everything else seems in great condition except for this one wire. It seems like too small of a job to take into a shop to get repaired. I do have a soldering gun. So I was hoping to just zip it back together and be good to go.
