I am referring to the synchronous motor, if the stator is having 3 coils with 120 Degree separation, what is the reason it is called a 2 pole stator? Please explain.
Can you provide detailed explanation so that i can understand better. If you say each phase winding's, then there are 3 phase winding's say (a,b,c) then we should have total 6 poles, but that is not the case correct, it is called 2 pole stator?Each phase winding possesses two poles. N-S.
