strict creationists may feel that way but I believe the majority of believers of intelligent design will accept the premise that living organisms can and do evolve either through a mutative or selective apparatus.

although there are no fossil evidences of interspecific transmutation.
at least not that I am aware of.

Creationists are adamant, evolution doesn't exist or work, so time scale doesn't enter into it. To them, we were created as we were in the beginning, and by inference will be as we are now in the end. World unchanging, forevermore.
Evolution does bot exist, true.
We were created as we were now but at much larger scale, we are the descendants of the giants.
In end we will be as we are but much smaller.
God works in his ways, not the way people dictate. We are probably not even close to the final product either, evolution marches on.
Final product is something human cannot imagine, cause our brain does not have that capacity.

An old saying that goes beyond I can remember.

If the world oceans were knowledge, the amount a human would ever know is the the amount that would fit in drop of salt water that lingers on a needle after you dip into the ocean.

If we come upon aliens in the due course of time that don't look anything like us (may not even be carbon based life forms), and while intelligent and technological don't think much like us, are they made in the image of God?
Aliens might exist and we have to believe it as we exists, but none of us are going to find any cause we are not meant to. As there may be other life forms but we cannot imagine their appearance. Ever imagine with this world full of people and every one is unique, this proves their is a higher power. So think that there may be more attractive aliens than humans.
As for image of god, nothing on earth can withstand his appearance. We and everything else will crumble to dust in the very site of god.

I dunno if the discussion is ongoing but my opinion is that evil does not exist, god does not exist and demons or devils or santa or the easter bunny also dont exist. It is only my opinion so please respect it even if you disagree.
I respect you for who are, as I am the same as you are, our beliefs are of our own and it won't come in the way of humanity. What you do is for you and I won't be judged by others actions. :D
so chill.... you can open ur heart out, I am just here to understand all of you better

BUT....
I have always kind of liked the thought of ghosts but I dont really believe they exist, however if they did I would think they were some kind of displaced energy left behind by a tortured person probably the same with demons, except again, I dont really believe they exist.

SO ORIGINAL POSTER, enlighten us, what is the information you are witholding
I am not with holding any thing, The things I know are not taught by anyone.
But when it comes to jinns, I know far beyond than anyone here.
I have encountered them, and there appearance should not be taken lightly.
I have stories of my own that I don't dare to share in an open forum.
But I know science does not believe and most of you here are of science believers.
Even If I were to show you the horror of the other side, every one will think of it as a trick and will tend to believe that way for they are innocent to the true nature of reality. And grasping it is just too hard. The real problem is faith.
Our reality co exist with the spiritual world, but dead ones soul does not linger around, what lingers are jinns in the form of the ones we know. They can see us and they despairs us, cause god love us more than them, this is why they will always find ways to get you ashtray.
Dead souls are under punishment for what they did with their life and are questioned by angels till the end of days.
Death is really the beginning. A second their is equal to a life time here.

Alberto,Yes,plants,animals have carbon mass.Plants don't.

Or maybe Broom(Closets)
All life currently on this planet is carbon based, and uses DNA. The sugars we eat are usually at least 1/3 carbon, mostly more. Carbon forms more complex molecules than any other element, hydrocarbons and buckminsterfullerene to name a few.

Take It Step by step and lay It out ,check your facts.Let the dna
take aback seat till you form the carbon. This Is trickey science
after you lay It out I may be able to expand. For now I stand by
my statement.

I have seen a few people slip into the great beyond.

Its weird, you would think that a soul, being energy, would lighten the body when it leaves, but they sure FEEL heavier.

It may have been the commotion and crying, making me weaker,

ok thats enough of that.

I remember writing something down, when I was younger, so I would never forget what I saw.

It was 'other-side' based, but for the life of me, I cant picture, or remember, what that was, or what the note to myself said.

So, do I write it off as an overactive youthful imagination?
As an adult, nothing is shocking anymore, so is it just perception that has changed?

dunno..

You aren't talking science, but opinion. The science is clear on this. Coal is the remanents of plants, as is oil (though oil is mostly small single cell plants and animals, plankton). Plants require two things in large quantities, H2O and CO2. The CO2 is a major clue, it is both used to make fuel (with sunlight) and as a building material for the plants mass along with the water.

The reason we eat plants (or animals that eat plants) is to get our quota of processed carbon.

The question was about the beginning, after wards Its not hard to agree
on the complex natures process. I anwsered off the top of my head,
wikipedia has the complex agreement points. I would never go against
your knowledge, you conceed my point as being acurate in the beginning.
Like a pair of aces two of kind, In some things. Theres no carbon in the
beginning of a plant. Like a heap of compost, you get alot of carbon, later.
In the beginning,Let there be Light, then light made a plant or helped.
(Coal is the remanents of plants),after how long.I still stand by my off
the top of my head statement.

Uhhh, the seed has no carbon? I don't think so. Water is minimized (though there) for packing.

This planet has a huge amount of carbon in it. I suspect carbon is one of the more common elements in the universe, after hydrogen.

A little reading goes a long way.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon

Carbon is the 15th most abundant element in the Earth's crust, and the fourth most abundant element in the universe by mass after hydrogen, helium, and oxygen. It is present in all known lifeforms, and in the human body carbon is the second most abundant element by mass (about 18.5%) after oxygen.
The woody material in plants is cellulose, the second most common material of which is carbon. I would say plants are richer in carbon than animals, but that wouldn't be true. All life on this planet has a large proportion of carbon, it is an absolute requirement. Cellulose is a type of sugar BTW.

The fact is, when the nanotech boom is going full swing (we are at the beginning) carbon will be a major structural material due to the extreme numbers of configurations it can take. We haven't even scratched the surface of uses for carbon.

... I have to throw a 'diamond' joke in here, sorry ;)

Loosewire, brother, you must have more resources than this site.

To you have one of those set-top WebTV boxes that only get one site, and it just so happens to be AAC?

Your waves between intelligibility and incorrectness are very young. It almost seems you are trying to use AAC as a study in human reaction.

Have you ever delved into chemistry or biology?

I am an avid autodidact and completely agree with self-education, but the paths some take to achieve their knowledge is boggling.

Science has answered alot of Important things, like making
Diamonds, walking on hot coals, how voodoo works Is there
any question you have, other than whats on the other side.
Riaff, seems to have the answer wants us to verify his
believes. Element-tree the lower level of education,
did you get that,my mind at work with words.
