Strantor,

Well, after I put up the BZ ... I thought of the times I needed BS and negat BZ, so I made up some more signal flags.

When will you be ready for the job market. It will be of interest
how pleased you are with your job offers or what is available at
the time.Do you have your sights on anything, and what pay range.

Well, I'm doing 6th form for two years now, doing Maths, Further Maths, Physics and German.

After that, I'm hoping to study Electronic Engineering at Uni for 4 years.

Then, join the RAF as an engineering officer, working with aircraft avionics or communications.

Pay depends on how long I've been in service as well as a couple of other factors.

That is, of course, assuming there still is an RAF!;)

@ Sparky49,look at all the holding your country gave back,If they
still had it you would need a very large air force. Does your country
have debt like the U.S. and who do you owe. What income do you get
from the holding you still have.If history repeats, you should know this
stuff to plan your future. Is the R.A.F. any type of requirement to
students of your country, are men and women required to do service
for the country.

Nope, there is no requirement.

It's one reason why it's so professional. There is no-one who doesn't want to be there, so everyone is giving it their 100%.

Yes, the UK does have a national debt, but it's fairly under control now.

When I leave the RAF, I plan to get a job as an electronic engineer, which should be nice fun!
