What do you think the fish are for?Personally I’d be more concerned at the food in my fridge/freezer spoiling due to an extended power outage – than any fish in a pond.

Thanks. I'll try this.If you feel comfortable with 240 AC, then something like this should work.

You will need some type of enclosure. They also have enclosed relays and sockets for more money. But you will still need an enclosure for the AC connections.
Your AC power line switch will control this relay. This relay will route AC line to your pump as long as there is ac line voltage. When the line fails....the relay will connect the battery to the inverter.....and switch pump input to inverter output.
Does that make any sense?
Then you can start your very own thread for help in learning to keep the door closed.Personally I’d be more concerned at the food in my fridge/freezer spoiling due to an extended power outage – than any fish in a pond.
its not stream fed pond. I'm usingAfter you decide on your system control......you might consider a water pump. It is more efficient to pour the water thru the air.....than the air thru the water. As mentioned.
Is the pond stream fed?
I'm using 35000lph pump. But sometimes its 90'F. just want to make sure O2 exchange is happening by using an air pump when power out. After you decide on your system control......you might consider a water pump. That's a personal decision. Some pond fish cost thousands of dollars each.Personally I’d be more concerned at the food in my fridge/freezer spoiling due to an extended power outage – than any fish in a pond.
Do you have aquatic plants? They'll produce O2 during the day and provide shade to keep the deeper part of the pond cooler.sometimes its 90'F. just want to make sure O2 exchange is happening by using an air pump when power out.
Ha haa , I have 25 large koi in my 11m x 8m x 1.5m pond. What do you think the fish are for?
not over stocked . I have 25 large koi in my 11m x 8m x 1.5m pond.Do you have aquatic plants? They'll produce O2 during the day and provide shade to keep the deeper part of the pond cooler.
Is your pond overstocked (more fish than it can support on its own)?
