I hope I'm in the right thread and would like to politely ask the following.

I have a problem with an ECG cable — the "BJ-902D" from Nihon Kohden — the transmission doesn't work. I have checked all the resistors; they are fine, and all the wires are OK. The only component that could still be faulty is the one marked in red in the picture. However, I don't know what it is. The component has no markings whatsoever, neither on the front nor on the back. Does anyone happen to know what component this might be and how one can test whether it's functioning correctly?

I would be very grateful.

It seems to be labelled L01, so presumably it's an inductor. Any markings on the component itself?

It looks like a ferrite bead with 6 holes.
It has likely 3 turns, as the wires come out on one side
They almost never fail, unless the wire breaks.
