Yes, but it's been around many years more than I've had my current car for. I think most of my cars that I've had during the 35 years I've lived in this house have had alloy wheels.

It's definitely in a safe place. My loft is crammed with such useful items. I hope I never have to move house. "One day son all this will be yours"

Yes, it's a tough call to judge used storage space and effort to record vs ease of disposal to free up space. Although in this case storage space isn't really an issue. My worst "throw it away" regret was a 100m roll of 6 core cable which took up space I needed in the garage and at that time the loft was already overflowing. I bought the wire over 20 years ago and never used it. I'd forgotten why I thought I might need it, probably for making RS232 cables. I gave it away on Freecycle. Less than a month later I decided to add some IOT to my loft for LED strip lights and a humane rodent trap sensor (I get an e-mail when the door on the trap closes). That 6 core wire would have been perfect for distributing LED strip power and door sensor input :-(

 

I threw away a box of nixie tubes once. To this day, I weep. I can hardly confess it.
