Hi there I am new here I hope I am in the right place

I am looking for anybody who can identify this transformer, it is 60 years old I have looked online but no luck, it is 14.5 mm round and 13.5 mm high, it is a 1:2 step up. the code on the picture reads ASC3626. Any help would be much appreciated thank you please excuse it being grubby in one of the pictures like I say it is 60 years old. Many Thanks, Smmy

 

It would help in the ID search if you told us in what machine it is located, or even post a photo of the machine.

If you are sure it's a transformer with 1:2 step up, do you know the power/current it needs to handle? You can probably find a more modern equivalent or worst case wind your own. Your two pictures appear to be of two different components, one with a clean top, one dirty?
