I think that's what happened to my post. The OP had made a comment that was irrelevant and vague. I had called him out on it with a rhetorical question, If his post were deleted (which it was) without context my response was nonsensical.

That is what happened. I deleted your post. While I do try to indicate reason, sometimes I forget and you can't go back once deleted. Also, I frequently log in from an iPad which sucks for editing and typing in general so I may not always provide full explanations to save another battle with auto-correct and the like.

Still though, your post was an off-topic reply to an off-topic post. I confess that sometimes I think that the reason for deletion should be obvious in such cases but I will endeavor to be more clear in my actions.

The reason for deletion WAS obvious - once I knew what the post was. My confusion was that I had completely forgotten making that post.
