Got deleted, I believe it was created on correct section and there was nothing legal or moral issue with it, Question was about using a opsouce project (at git hub)
I just wanted to know if I broke some forum law/terms? so that i take care of such things.

 

I believe that no rules were broken. It was deleted by a moderator over concerns that the downloaded source was compromised, i.e. the site contained malware.

 

We tend to be extra careful regarding potentially malicious links. If nothing else, web crawlers of all kinds sweep them up and disseminate them in a lot of different ways, which increases the likelihood that others will see them and click on them without having any idea of potential danger.

As for your specific case, there are forums and sites that are specifically devoted to software-defined radio. You will almost certainly get a lot more authoritative information by posting your query on one of them.
