DC-link Components(capacitor & inductor) elimination-Control algorithm for AC-DC-AC system

DC-link(electrolytic capacitors) is considered as most unreliable component in a drive system, but it is useful in smoothing the DC ripple produced after rectification.

They are selected on several factors, the least of all dependent on load and desired ripple.

I wanted some references on control algorithm for inverter (VFD Induction motor application) for reduced/elimination of dc-link,
as i was searching, i found most of them were for PMSM & IPMSM.....
needed control algoritm for induction motor(recent and better one)...
thanks :)
