I think the point is that Pfzer, like some other drug companies put profit (and bonuses?) way ahead of doing good for their end customers.
Without any evidence of any wrong doing it is just speculation and bias.I think the point is that Pfzer, like some other drug companies put profit (and bonuses?) way ahead of doing good for their end customers.
I am not satisfied by your answer but thank you for your responseWithout any evidence of any wrong doing it is just speculation and bias.
There is a special name for this logical fallacy: The Genetic fallacy.

It's the same as saying that "people who own Volkswagens are evil because Volkswagen is a car company that was created by the Nazi Party"
If there is any actual legal claims against Pfizer w.r.t the Covid-19 vaccine I'd love to read up on it![]()
I think the fallacy here is that you're arguing against a claim that t_glover didn't make, i.e. that there are legal claims against Pfizer w.r.t. the Covid-19 vaccine or that they broke the law somehow w.r.t. the same.Without any evidence of any wrong doing it is just speculation and bias.

Can you be specific about what you're talking about? So the current anti-vaccine attack, ... is to attack capitalism and corporate profits.
There is no fallacy in stating that prior behavior predicts future behavior - theives steal, liers lie...
You just supported my claim. You predict the outcome of you posting a comment based on previous behavior by the moderators. You are not just about to change and neither are they...That pretty much covers where all the false information is coming from about the vaccines. Preclaiming or projecting things that will be later used against you has been the norm for the last ~5 to 6 years. I could expand on that but won't in open forum, citing my track record here.

FYI, I got 2 Phizer shots and will get a 3rd when offered.
Ross’s pamphlet was adamant about the role of both the press and the medical profession in stoking fears over infection as part of a “mad” campaign for gaining money. Much like today, epidemics created opportunities for both employment and research in the medical field. Yet this employment was painted as an unethical exploitation of the poor, worth “one million pounds sterling” to the profession, rather than an effort in combating the suffering and death of thousands.
Additionally, public health measures were depicted as an assault on personal rights and an overreach of government power. “Talk no longer of Russian Tyranny,” Ross declared, for there was “none so formidable” as the city health officials. His arguments are still echoed over a century later in the current pandemic, as we see continued support behind the belief in a conspiracy to limit freedoms (among other, more extreme, conspiracy theories).

I'm talking about the 'vaccine' bad because it's made by 'Evil Corp' for money message.. So predictable in the progression of anti-vaxx messaging..

Getting vaccinated seems to be a wise health risk compared to risking worse effects from infection per that study. We estimated that the BNT162b2 vaccine resulted in an increased incidence of a few adverse events over a 42-day follow-up period. Although most of these events were mild, some of them, such as myocarditis, could be potentially serious. However, our results indicate that SARS-CoV-2 infection is itself a very strong risk factor for myocarditis, and it also substantially increases the risk of multiple other serious adverse events. These findings help to shed light on the short- and medium-term risks of the vaccine and place them in clinical context. Further studies will be needed to estimate the potential of long-term adverse events.
