About all the folks that are lying about being Vaxed so they won't have to mask... Not to mention that they probably never wore one before at all.
We are past worrying about the mask usage. At this stage in the pandemic masks really don't matter because the vaccines have totally negated the value of the tiny bit of protected they provided. Wearing masks now is mainly virtue signaling in areas of high vaccination rates in the US.

Let the fools lie and get sick, it's their funeral.

To find out how long coronavirus immunity really lasts, Ellebedy and the team started collecting both blood and bone marrow samples from people who recovered from mild cases of COVID-19. Researchers gathered 77 participants who volunteered to give blood every three months starting a month after their infection. Only six of these patients needed hospitalization during their illness.

Eighteen participants also provided bone marrow samples seven to eight months after their infections. Five returned four months later to provide a second bone marrow sample — nearly one year after contracting COVID-19. For comparison, the team also collected bone marrow from 11 people who never had coronavirus.

The results reveal COVID antibodies in the blood dropped off quickly within a few months of clearing the virus. However, these antibodies did not disappear entirely, they leveled off and scientists still detected them in patients 11 months later.

Moreover, 15 of the bone marrow samples from coronavirus patients contained antibody-producing cells which target COVID-19. The bone marrow from the five patients who came back to give a second sample still had these cells present four months later. On the other hand, all 11 people who did not get COVID-19 did not have any of these antibody-producing cells in their bone marrow.

For COVID patients, researchers say there’s no reason to think these cells will ever leave the human body.

What's going on? ... I'm convinced that the damn virus is not artificial. But now there's speculation from some respectful sources that it might have escaped a lab... what are the odds that's what really happened?
Let them go where the facts lead.

Possible doesn't equal probable. We know wildlife has passed these types of virus to humans long before we had the technology to manipulate them. This means there were millions of possible of events happening with some causing infected humans over the years. A lab escape equates to maybe a few related events happening over a short period of time. Look at just the odds of what's more likely.

From the original animal jump that most people believe was months before the Wuhan cluster discovery was plenty of time for the virus to mutate into something more contagious to humans naturally. Just look at the natural mutations that have happened around the world in the general population so far.

At least the bio-weapon theories are not being resurrected.

Here's where abandoning masks after immunization failed...
Yankees “outbreak” - Your Local Epidemiologist (substack.com)

Even vaccinated, there are still some of us with weakened immune systems that are still vulnerable and at risk.
From your link:
Breakthrough cases are expected.

Vaccine efficacy is amazingly high, but not 100%. “Real world” efficacy of J&J is 72% (against old variants). In other words, if 100 people got COVID19, J&J could have prevented 72 of them. 28 people would still get some form of the disease, albeit, more mild. And this is what we saw with the Yankee “outbreak”. 8 of the 9 people were asymptomatic. 1 had mild symptoms. If these 9 players didn’t have the vaccine, they may have had severe disease.

With that said, we have to be careful how we label “breakthrough cases”. While, technically, an asymptomatic infection is considered a breakthrough case according to the CDC, we need to stop thinking like this. A breakthrough case is better defined if someone is vaccinated and gets the disease. COVID19 is here to stay and we (the public, the media, CDC) need to distinguish meaningful breakthrough cases from not meaningful ones. This will help us better understand variants, real world efficacy, and risk/reward balance for those that don’t have the vaccine yet.
Those with weakened immune systems will need to be extra careful but they should have been extra careful before this pandemic. The vast majority of the population can quickly return to post pandemic lives after being fully vaccinated.

International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research2(1), May 10, 2021 Worse Than the Disease? Reviewing Some Possible Unintended Consequences of the mRNA Vaccines Against COVID-19

Be careful of using information from anti-vax conspiracy sites.
In December 2020, the International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice and Research accepted for peer-reviewed publication an article by Children’s Health Defense on how the pandemic facilitated a financial, tech, biopharmaceutical and military-intelligence push for centralized, technocratic control. The journal’s editor-in-chief, Professor John W. Oller, Jr., Ph.D., tells why he and Senior Editor Christopher A. Shaw decided to launch this particular open-access journal.

“ … the great task remaining before us … that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.” — Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg Address, Nov. 19, 1863)

When my colleague Dr. Christopher Shaw and I first started talking about launching a new scientific journal, it was at the request of certain unnamed wealthy sponsors who promised funding for our efforts. As it turned out, they dropped out and we continued without them. We wondered, aloud, if the reason for the sudden fare-thee-well was what Ed Young (2020) has called “The Fear Virus,” a bestseller subtitled “Vaccinating Yourself Against Life’s Greatest Phobias.”

For people connected in any way with medicine, law, Big Pharma, corporate America, academia, the internet, or, in fact, any part whatsoever of the present-day world, the fear of being singled out as “different” — as an individual with freedom of will, thought and expression — may sometimes overwhelm perfectly reasonable and good inclinations.

Be that as it may, Professor Shaw and I, together with a distinguished list of associate editors, share a commitment to critically examine the very assumption that Ed Young innocently expresses in his subtitle about the “Fear Virus” — namely, that the right vaccine can protect us from any disease or disorder that happens to come along.

The pervasive public faith in vaccines as panaceas for all possible health issues became the subject of serious public discussions a couple of decades ago. At the beginning, the focus was on the neurotoxins found in many childhood vaccines — ingredients known to cause, or worsen, some of the neuropathies that were increasingly evident among some of the most vaccinated children on the face of the earth — the children here in the USA (Kennedy et al., 2016).

This review zeros in on the aspect of vaccine theory, practice, and research that is the most dangerous, the most controversial, and that is at the epicenter of the alleged SARS-CoV-2 “pandemic”. Regardless whether the “pandemic” itself is real or an illusion manufactured out of fear by vested interests, it is central to ethics and policy discussions seeking to understand bioweapons research in general. The official involvement of the USA in civilian bioweapons research dates at least from World War II under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The historical records, cloaked in secrecy until after the Anthrax mailing of 2001, reveal an intimate connection to vaccine research and development, its governmental protection from public scrutiny, and from citizen initiated lawsuits. It is an industry that has released dangerous weaponized pathogens by accident and by sinister designs supposedly compensated in the peace-loving nations by unrealistic hopes in non-existent counter-measures for outbreaks, including epidemiological tracking after the fact, vaccines being researched to counter the weaponization of pathogens being studied, immunity enhancing drugs, and downstream hoped for blood sera containing antibodies. Critical questions concern the ratio of real-risks to hoped-for-benefits, the “mitigating” measures “governments” (especially in the USA) have supposedly established to prevent pandemic outbreaks from bioweapons research, and how all that has played out in the instance of SARS-CoV-2.

The false information label is not explained. Actually, if you examine the tweet, no claim was made.

Read through the referenced article and see for yourself whether it is credible or not.

This person and the anti-vax R. Kennedy related article both have a long history being solidly in the anti-vax community with a long history of spreading disinformation. They are not credible IMO as fair presenters of information in this area.

This expression always bothers me. Jim Jones actually used a product named “Flavor Aid”. A cheaper version of Kool Aid. But somewhere along the way once the name got mangled then everyone repeated the mistake.

You may wonder why I care, I’ll tell you. I was living in San Francisco in 1978 when the People’s Temple crisis came to a climax at the mass suicide at Jonestown. My best friend was working at the Ag dept lab across the bay. His boss was Dr. Layton whose son Larry was the gunman who killed people at the nearby airstrip when people tried to get away. You can look up the details. I hope you appreciate my sensitivity to the expression. Thanks
