As expected by everyone but the doomers. One and pretty much done.Reinfection immunity > 6 mos.
"Suggested" does not mean "actually does". A single preliminary study is pretty meaningless. One researcher recently proposed that wearing a crystal amulet worked to treat Covid19.Besides vitamin D supplementation, melatonin has been suggested as having benefits for a Covid19 immune response. Interestingly, both compounds appear to be related in that sunlight may be a factor in their production and/or function.
Melatonin Could Potentially Treat COVID-19 (webmd.com)
NOT an actual doctor or researcher! His YouTube bio says he's a retired nurse teacher.Reinfection immunity > 6 mos.
Teaching nursing at the university level requires Masters Degree so a person having their BS Nursing completes their Masters and can then teach it. While I have tremendous respect for any RN and those who get their Masters and go on to teach nursing it's a far cry from being a doctor let alone a doctor who specializes in infectious disease. Pretty good difference in formal schooling there. I guess the problem I see with COVID and the entire field of medicine is too many conflicting opinions even among those who specialize in infectious disease. Most of what we read is opinion so just choose the one you like and run with it I guess.NOT an actual doctor or researcher! His YouTube bio says he's a retired nurse teacher.
Thank you Captain Obvious, lol. Regardless, I'd respond that both vitamin D and melatonin, unlike amulets, are produced naturally by the human body, likely for a reason."Suggested" does not mean "actually does".
Appeal to authority, much?NOT an actual doctor or researcher! His YouTube bio says he's a retired nurse teacher.
Are you serious? Am I to understand from that ridiculous comment that we should not appeal to experts?Appeal to authority, much?
Uranium is natural, too. So is cancer. So what? "Produced for a reason" meaning to satisfy your pet hypothesis.Thank you Captain Obvious, lol. Regardless, I'd respond that both vitamin D and melatonin, unlike amulets, are produced naturally by the human body, likely for a reason.
You're missing the point. Healthy human bodies have cellular machinery that produce vitamin D. And melatonin. They are part of healthy human biology. Amulets, like uranium, not so much.Uranium is natural, too.
In attempting to construct a logical argument, one should appeal to facts, not experts.Am I to understand from that ridiculous comment that we should not appeal to experts?
So if the doctor gives you some diagnosis based on tests, x-rays, mri's, etc....you ask to see all the information on how those processes work, how the tests were performed, indeed how chemical analysis and biological process function instead of trusting the experts? In attempting to construct a logical argument, one should appeal to facts, not experts.
Ummm....yes?So if the doctor gives you some diagnosis based on tests, x-rays, mri's, etc....you ask to see all the information on how those processes work, how the tests were performed, indeed how chemical analysis and biological process function instead of trusting the experts?
Agreed, and it's not really a slam against the parchment.Ummm....yes?
I make no assumptions that a piece of parchment makes one infallible.
Ummm...wrong.Ummm....yes?

Mark Zuckerberg just told me to agree with you. So, I guess, you win.Ummm...wrong.
Do you know everything there is to know about chemistry, biology, engineering, and everything else that goes into the things we benefit from in modern society? No, you don't. You and everyone else rely on experts all the time.
