Hello all, i am new to this forum. Still learning alot. I have 3 control modules that keeps burning up the smd 1001 resistor. Would someone be able to help me find the cause? I would highly appreciate it. Making me crazy.

The fact that you have 3 separate control modules with the same resistor problem suggests that the original design of the circuit is at fault.
Have you done an online search for defect reports for that controller model type
Are you able to measure the running voltage across the SMD1001 and also the current in order to determine the required rated wattage?

Please post the controller type details.
