Hi, i'm new here so pleased go easy on me. I need to replace a blown IRF 3205 Mosfet in an automotive amplifier but i'm having difficulty fining the part. The numbers on the Transistor are IRF 3205 872L. I can find many IRF 3205's but none that list 872L as a variant.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Dawer, The key digits on for the device are the IRF 3205.. I would not be concerned about the others, so long as the device package is the same. The last numbers on a package often refer to the batch number or production date. The data sheet for the IC will probably tell you, along with any variations of the IRF3205 that are available.
