Compare 1Gbps Ethernet connector internal magnetics/schematics

We were comparing two different companies RJ45 Ethernet 1Gbps connectors and found mechanically and pinout wise both are same,
but when we compare the internal schematics of that connectors both appears differently,

On Molex part - looking from the RJ45 side the first coils appear to be in parallel
On WE part - looking from the RJ45 side the first coils appear to be in series

Is it ok to substitute one for other , or we are reading/understanding it wrongly ?

WURTH PART NUMBER internal : 7499111447 (the datasheet specifically does not say which side is RJ45 side but we assume right side is RJ45 side as 75Ohms resistors are present that side

It doesn't need to, the side with 10 pins is the PCB side. Terminations are on the RJ45 as you surmised. However the trifilar wound common-mode chokes can be either side.

That said, they aren't interchangeable as the Wurth has centre-taps on the PCB side connected to pins 5/6 whereas the Molex have that as 1 & 2 and separated for VCC & GND and DC-biassing.

Other than that they are electrically/RF-wise very similar. The Wurth is more marginally detailed spec.

Thankyou very much Irving ! - Yes they are not pin-to-pin compatible, we really missed to see/compare that center-tap pinouts. Thankyou once again.
