Hi all, I'm building an electric vehicle and have a DCNEV-250-M. I don't think the datasheet mentions a diode or anything like that that I can find, but I'm new at this.
I'm using a simple switch to close the coil but the 12V is coming from a DC-DC converter and of course there's bunch of other sensitive electronics on the same bus.
From what little I know about this, I can damage things without some protection. I think I can simply put a diode in parallel with the coil but I would like to do it correctly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim
