hello all,

I have a cheap xmas led light which I need to hack...

how to hack the circuit and instead of looping the settings (blinking light types) with the button, I need the light just to stay steel.

Your only option is to wire the lights on permanent, there is a Cob chip on the smaller PCB that controls the sequence.

Remove the wires marked A, B, and connect them to C.Polish_20210106_131354769.png

No just connect the wires that I said, the D wire is the common Positive for the lights.

Warning it will be 230V DC on the lights.

The little circuit limits current to the LEDs but nothing limits the 230VDC that will kill you.
One LED uses 1.8V to 3.5V (depending on its color) at about 5mA to 20mA.

Yeah... that is a transformerless power supply that you're trying to hack. Besides being dangerous as pointed out, it is also against the TOS/UA. This policy is for your safety. You can expose yourself and your family to lethal voltages if you don't know what you are doing.

Sorry.
