I am in the market for budget web hosting for 2 very basic websites.

- Less than 100 visitors a month
- Less than 1GB storage required
- 0-1 databases required (SQL or similar)
- Sites will be written in HTML / PHP

The sites are for information only with no sensitive information. Server location is not important as a long as it's within Canadian law.

In the UK I've used https://freeola.com/web-hosting/ for years - writing in HTML and PHP - it also offers SQL database although I've not used that. There may be cheaper options in the UK but I've never bothered to look, their uptime is brilliant. No reason I can think of that you can't use from Canada although I expect you can find equivalents your side of the pond.
