You are talking about resource guarding and it is not the same as ownership.

Whether children or not, the issue of urban rural divide is real. I live it every dat in BC. Having moved from Victoria down south where all the people and service are to up north where there are no people, no services but all the industry is... I have to tell you that I am a patient person, but my resentment has been building. Carbon tax is not a problem for BC, we have been paying it for years, but we are looking at huge increases in our insurance and BC hydro rates in the next few years. Hydro will be interesting, they are expanding it to support LNG projects - why am I forced to subsidize Asian companies? Why is public forced to compete and subsidize the likes of Amazon? Everyone should just tell them to f*** off, but instead they have cities compete on who will give them the biggest cut? Stay tuned, this is only the beginning. I wish I was older

Childs toy is also a resource. But then we teach children the concept of ownership - a child will be proud of having a shiny new thing. We teach children about posessions and taking care of them. A dog most likely does not care. You can train both out of "guarding" it. Dogs might be easier...

When the communists inevitably suffer starvation and hypothermia, they will take up arms against the outsiders (for the People). Then they put them in camps. Or ovens. Technology will not change any of this. Except may be more efficient ovens.

In today's world, most of what's on the news seem intended mistakes (for me). All the epidemics, malpractices, viruses, disease or even wars or revolutions are "planted" (in my opinion) by some higher powers that aim to make the population decrease (because, well, we are too many already)

The protests (more like riots) in France are against the taxes on fuel purportedly to combat "Climate Change" and the French aren't buying this propaganda.

It started as a fuel tax protest. When they got Macron to say 'uncle' they figured it was game on for just about anything including his 'head'.
