Can we please get a world with no owners?

That is true but in a different sort of ownership, as Kropotkin would argue, in mutual aid.
Animals do exhibit the kind of ownership you are referring to (I think). For instance, some will stake out a home (den, burrow, whatever) and that is THEIR home. A more short-term and obvious example is, "This is MY food."

But even in looking at dogs you can see behaviors that indicate ownership, such as of toys. Our current new idiot has a couple of toys that she has claimed ownership of and the existing idiot (who outweighs her by a factor of three or four) gets snarled at and barked at if she messes with it. Since the big dog is a wuss, it's not an issue. All other toys she couldn't care less, but those two toys are flat hers and she even gets ansy if I pick it up (though she learned very early in our relationship that I am NOT a wuss and that discretion is sometimes the better part of valor). What she hasn't figured out is the notion of hiding them -- something the dog I had a couple decades ago new how to do very well (and she remembered where she hid things even when her opportunity to go fetch them was delayed by years). I didn't think of it until years later, so I'm not positive, but there seemed be a consistent set of objects that she hid away and I got to wondering later if those were the objects that she saw as "hers".

In my years I was traveling to tour Italy by bicycle, I was frequenting an Italian forum. The subject of free camping got brought up (which I am dead set against unless you have the owners permission). There was one poster that was very much for free camping. Her stance all property was pubic. Her attitude infuriated me.

She happen to own an apartment or villa in Florence. I told he I will be visiting Florence and expected to stay at her apartment for free since all property is public, it should not be an issue.

The topic of stealth camping frequently gets brought up on the touring section of a bicycle forum I frequent. In case you don't know, that is the art of finding a spot, any spot, camp out without being seen There are a number of people that are great advocates of the practice. My stance is that it is akin to stealing.

When you are touring, especially in remote areas, situations arise were you might need to camp wherever you are. But you should still make every effort to contact the owners and ask permission. Some states have laws that say you are permitted to camp on private property as long as it is not posted. My thinking is that no matter what the law permits, you are still stealing from the owner if you don't ask for permission.

I have read a number of stories where touring cyclists went out of their way to ask permission to camp and were treated to a guest room, a shower and a nice home cooked meal. I also have read stories that people that have tried to stealth camp got woken up in the middle pf the night at the point of a gun. :)

Camping on private property without prior permission is unthinkable to me. I suppose it happens without me knowing about it but I’ve never heard of it. Good way to get shot.

Most public campgrounds these days expect a payment to help defray maintenance. It’s often on the honor system and I suppose the compliance rate is less than 100%.

In today's world, most of what's on the news seem intended mistakes (for me). All the epidemics, malpractices, viruses, disease or even wars or revolutions are "planted" (in my opinion) by some higher powers that aim to make the population decrease (because, well, we are too many already) and because they want to own it and control it (where there's more opinions, it's harder to control the masses).
.
If a virtual space can solve those environmental issues you mentioned, then I think it’s a good idea. It’s quite possible too especially with so many emerging technologies now –AI, blockchain, virtual and mixed realities –even Elon Musk is looking into transhumanist technologies.

With so many issues now in our real world, I think there’s no harm in exploring technological options to save the earth and humanity.

Ho Hum another pipe dream! Can you find any organised society around today (lost tribes etc) that do not have "ownership" of goods and chattels?
Even with the most modern tech and some we havent even thought of yet, all that will happen power will evolve to a small controlling group who will "own" everything and allow the plebs to use it on sufferance, barring a revolution of course. Hmm, sound like we are nearly there already!

The push for world communism (essentially the elimination of national borders, national sovereignty, and having no restrictions on immigration) is alive and well and it's not that hard to find out who's funding that movement.

The Pueblo Sin Fronteras (“People Without Borders”) is a project of La Familia Latina Unida, a Chicago, Illinois-based 501(c)(4) illegal immigration advocacy organization formed in 2001 by Elvira Arellano, an activist for immigrants living illegally in the United States.
This organization gets funding from a number of major left-of-center grantmaking foundations, including the Open Society Foundations, MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, and Carnegie Corporation of New York. Pueblo Sin Fronteras works with The CARA Family Detention Project (or CARA).

They organize pro bono legal services for migrants who have entered the United States without permission and are seeking asylum. It is jointly operated by four organizations that individually advocate for liberalized U.S. immigration policy and/or provide free legal assistance to legal and illegal immigrants. At least three of these four organizations receive significant funding from (or otherwise have financial associations with) the Foundation to Promote Open Society (founded by left-wing billionaire George Soros).

If you want to know who's really behind all the mass immigration going on all over the world (like the caravan of so called "asylum seekers" from Honduras), do a search for "Partnership For A New American Economy" at https://www.newamericaneconomy.org/ and you will see all the multinational corporations who want open borders.

World without owners? Why not? That is the way the world began.
Ownership is something fabricated by humans. Eventually we all return to dust.
You can't take money to heaven. Unless as one smart aleck remarked, he'll take Travellers Cheques.
(translated into Hell will take Travellers Checks).
Thank you for supporting my idea!

Somewhat off topic, but did you hear what's happening in Paris over a hike in gas prices?

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=paris+yellow+vest+riots

The news media here in the U.S. isn't reporting much of anything about these riots and I suspect they don't want the American public to know that there's some heavy duty push back brewing against government overstepping its authority.
I think your thesis is wildly off base. Why do you think we would care one way or the other what is happening in France? If we decided to protest high gas prices -- who exactly would we go after?
We would either pay the tax and continue driving our SUV's OR suddenly switch to using the public transportation that we somehow failed to adequately fund. I guess that means we'd be protesting ourselves.

Because it is a possible way to avoid gas guzzling SUV's...
I don't wish to avoid gas guzzling SUVs -- except insofar as not to stand in front of a moving one.

In fact, I own two of them.

Are you suggesting I should pay the transportation costs of those who do not wish to drive SUVs -- in addition to the cost of the obscene amounts of fuel consumed by my SUVs and the obscene cost of the SUVs themselves?

And, why are SUVs the only option, other than public transportation? Do they not make those cheap little Japanese sedans anymore? The ones I like to call "steel coffins"? How about Vespas for everyone?

People still buy gas guzzling SUV's in the US because we still need to transport our tons of stuff and families in something other than a euro-sardine can across vast stretches of land in an enormous country. The rule of unintended consequences is in effect here. When we mandated (CAFE) standards we exempted commercial transport in trucks and truck like cars as not to destroy the small businesses that use them so they slowly replaced the big family gas guzzling land-yacht. Design a public transportation that meets the needs of the vast non-urban traveler and people will use it. Canada has good urban public transportation yet that country is still loaded with trucks and SUV's.

Most important, we just LIKE them!
