Hi guys, I’m trying to figure out if a control board to operate a 24v stepper motor can be made outside a factory.. If given temperature perimeters,, a thermistor reading temperature,, controlling theopening and closing of a small valve Sending pic of motor. Can I find an amateur electronics guy to build an operational prototype. To operate this motor that has say100 different positions open to close ..To certain positions according to temperature and compensate with temperature changes

 

Yes it can be done, the stepper motor will be stepped in degrees or steps per rotation, you can use a micro with a L298 stepper bridge chip...
