What is the application? It may be a custom IC, as non of the strings come up in a quick datasheet search.

In which case it's probably custom. Often car manufacturers will get an IC designed to specification, as it ends up being cheaper compared to using off-the-shelf parts.

 

Would this be the masked custom IC they make so people can't hack their alarm frequencies?

I am leaning in this direction. A few of the custom IC's I've seen haven't had that much information on them, but I guess if it is custom, they can say whatever they want.

 

The fact tht it has memory chip close tell me it is uC.
Could be a Motorola programmable one
