Hello, I have one opamp only to use with this potentiometer. Which one would you choose first or second schematic?
I have tested both ways and can’t see a difference but from your experiences I am curious.E8607E57-42E5-4F11-BE55-8B62E86A947E.jpeg

The first gives you lower output impedance, the second gives you higher input impedance. Which is more important for your application? In other words, why dod you need a buffer in the first place?

I need this attenuated signal to keep its shape. For example: even at half or quarter in amplitude the signal needs to stay strong and clear.

At this point it would help to know what this is being used in. What does the input come from and where does the output go?
