BEST PCB DESIGN SEQUENCE

Hello Friends,

I had decided to design PCB board by Using UV exposure method and first I decided to do design process as mentioned below

Layout Printout in OHP sheet – apply enamel paint on copper clad board for photo resistant (Reference) - Screen Printing using UV Exposure - Developing using SODIUM METASILICATE PENTAHYDRATE – Etching using FERROUS CHLORIDE(FeCl2) – Plating using TIN LIQUID – Solder Masking using Solder Mask Paste, brought from eBay (Reference) – Drilling – Components Placing – Conformal Coating

After that I referred many tutorials and videos, in that they had done all above process, but not in above sequence. Now please write me, weather above sequence is best sequence, or any other sequence that gives best results.

I don't think there is such a thing as photosensitive enamel paint. I think Craps1956 just draws the tracks by hand straight onto the copper. Uncovered parts will be etched.

If you want to do the UV exposure method it's probably easiest to buy some presensitized boards:

Be sure you understand that there are photopositive and photonegative boards and what that means.

So far, so good.

That is a non sequitur for the photoresist method. That is, it defeats the purpose of using photoresist.
Screen Printing using UV Exposure
OK, UV can be used in screen printing; however, it is not clear how you intend to employ that process. You will probably not get very good resolution.
- Developing using SODIUM METASILICATE PENTAHYDRATE
OK, some but BUT NOT ALL photoresists can be developed with sodium metasilicate. Be sure the one you use can be developed that way.
– Etching using FERROUS CHLORIDE(FeCl2) –
Ferrous chloride will not work for etching. You need ferric chloride (FeCl3).

Plating using TIN LIQUID – Solder Masking using Solder Mask Paste, brought from eBay (Reference) – Drilling – Components Placing – Conformal Coating

sorry to say, i using ferric chloride (FeCl3); i had mentioned wrongly. is this sequence is OK for design PCB
