Battery simulator

Hello,

I want to design a battery simulator circuit to test my board. My board connects to a single cell li-on battery, 3.8V 2400mAH and it has a wireless charger circuit with up to 400mAH charge.

The battery simulator needs to provide up to 1A to the board and to be "charged" at 400mA.

I've tried several solutions:1634054915734.png
and more from: https://www.powerelectronicsnews.com/using-a-battery-simulator-to-stress-test-charging-systems/

But nothing seems to "charge".

Any help will be great.

Ofer.

A Lithium single cell battery charger must keep its voltage no higher than 4.20V. The circuit you showed does not detect and has no control of voltage.

A Lithium single cell battery charger must detect the charging current and must disconnect the charging when the charging current drops to 1/10th the mAh rating or less. The circuit you showed does not detect charging current.

You have a Mosfet that shorts Vout. Why?
