Are these connections the same?

Hi. Are A and B the same circuit? I mean, the way the potentiometer is connected in each one are the same?

Because I´m still learning and changing things on circuits make me nervous. I suposed it was right, but I wanted to be sure.

So think about how you would wire the actual circuit from the schematic.
If the wiring doesn't change, then the schematic change makes no difference.

The only difference possible is the physical mounting of that capacitor.
It may be mounted on the Pot legs in the first schematic, maybe on the pcb in the second.

One way to examine the equivalence of the connections is to give each a unique name and then see if the component legs connected to each node are the same. Visually, this can be done using different colors.

Pick a component leg and assign a color to that node. I chose the top of the capacitor and assigned the connected node the color red. Then highlight that entire node in red. Now pick another leg of a component that is connected to a red leg, preferably a two-terminal component to eliminate potential ambiguity. I chose the other end of the capacitor and assigned it the color blue. Not highlight that node and repeat the process. I chose the other side of the resistor and assigned it the color green. Once all nodes are colored, go component by component and see if each corresponding leg of every component is connected to the same colored nodes. If they are, then the connections are equivalent.
