Looking for a 5 bit ADC but at the moment I can only find 6 bit ones online. Anyone know where I might be able to get ahold of a 5 bit ADC? Thanks!

 

A 6-bit ADC becomes a 5-bit ADC if you ignore the lowest bit.

Maybe he means he only has 63¢ to spend and the cheapest he can find is 75¢…
or maybe he’s only got a thrupenny and a florin…

 

Likely 8-bit ADC is the most common.
Just use the upper 5 bits.

Digikey.com has 14,000 different ADCs and they have no 5 bit parts.
Tell us what you are doing, and we can help you pick an 8 bit part.
