Hi.
Not the LM3909 or 555, Is there any other IC that will run on 3V to blink a LED about 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off ?
Seem to remember with foggy mind, seeing many years ago, an obscure two pin device that was intended to be in series with any LED to make it blinking, but cannot remember the rate or what was it... or equivalent today
I know I can use a blinking LED in series to others to make them all blinking.

I think that LED blinker is obsolete and no longer made.

What's wrong with using a LMC555 CMOS version of the 555?
It can operate down to 1.5V, takes only around 0.1mA supply current, and can use high resistor values for long time constants.

Thanks. Nothing wrong with the LMC555; just trying to remember fading memories...:( Perhaps am confusing with a 78L0X clever application that worked as flasher...

That LM3909 is available, expensive.

Going up to a 14 pin dip dual channel CD4047 CMOS Monostable/Astable Multivibrator just to learn something new maybe.

Below is the LTspice simulation of a typical LMC555 astable circuit with a near 50% duty-cycle.

ATTiny25 and a tiny bit of code. Plus a programmer. SparkFun has a programmer fro ~$17 and you can use it on many projects. That’s four pins.
