Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has a solution to my TV problem. It's an LG 19LS4R that I brought from Portugal, although I don't want to mislead you, it was playing up there too. The picture was taken while connected via HDMI cable to a laptop but it's the same whatever I connect to. Also, I can't get any sound.
I have changed a cap on the PSU board that lo oked 'blown' but it's made no difference. Any help/advice is appreciated.

What happened to the TV between when it worked and stopped?

Does the top third of the screen display correctly?

DL, nothing (as far as I know) happened to the TV and no, there's no picture at all.
Albert, you may be right....I came across this clip on Youtube when looking for ideas...
